Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska - June 26, 2007

Tuesday we sailed in and out of Tracy Arm Fjord. We cruised as far as we could into the fjord and got a great view of glacier. The walls of the fjord were steep cliffs with many waterfalls and ice flows. The ship is equipped with side thrusters and much high tech equipment, so in spite of the fact that it is over 900 feet long, it can turn around in a very small area – almost turn on its own axis. We then sailed out of the fjord and headed down the coast to Prince Rupert in northern British Columbia.
