I have found that most people will get along just fine with "Point and Shoot" cameras or even a camera-phone most of the time. The majority of the pictures we take could be made with just about any camera. But there are situations when this casual approach to photography just won't do. There are special lighting situations, action, sports, stage productions, and a myriad of other places where more skill and a higher perfromance camera is needed.
